With a real Class 10 card (10MB/s guaranteed writes) it will take 10 secs just to save the three images. A 21MP large fine JPEG and a Raw can be 35MB, so shooting 3 images in a second is about 100MB, which is more data than even most fast cards can tuck away (and the camera is often the limiting factor anyway). Where card speed more comes into play is shooting stills, where a lot of data can be involved if you are shooting quickly or in burst mode. I'd suggest going for name brands like Sandisk as you value the data on the card more than saving a few pounds/dollars on a card. ![]() ![]() Video needs quite low data rates so isn't that much of an issue, just getting a Class 10 card will be fine.
